A full DVLA, Northern Ireland or EEA licence held for at least three years. International holders may need to exchange theirs first.
You need the legal right to live and work in the UK. We verify your passport or share code as part of the application package.
TfL requires you to be of “good character”. We guide you through the Enhanced DBS check and Update Service registration.
The same standard as HGV drivers, certified by a GP on form TPH204. We arrange and check this before submission.

DBS support plus Update Service remindersUpload and submit your complete application through the TfL portal, with every record in the format they expect.
Document-by-document review before you submitThree separate assessments, all on the same day at the same TfL centre. You need 60% to pass each, and you must pass all three.
Each assessment costs £40 for your first attempt and £30 per resit. You get 3 attempts at each — fail all three and you must restart your licence application.
